Precision Agriculture requires data collection to show spatial variability. The problem was that large volumes of information were generated and there were difficulties trying to organize and consult them.

There were no specific applications focused on precision agriculture which solved this problem. Hence, XoomCode considered the need of developing an application with great geospatial analysis capacity which could process data from farms in real time.

The solution entailed developing a low-cost tool (cost was an important factor for producers) which allowed getting acquainted with precision vine-growing without the need of being GIS experts.
