El Gobierno de la provincia de Tucumán y el Equipo de Coordinación Inicial de la Plataforma para la consolidación de la IDERA organizan las VI Jornadas de la Infraestructura de Datos Espaciales de la República Argentina – VI IDERA.
XoomCode's team was in Barcelona to attend FOSS4G 2010 once more. We arrived a few days prior to the conference start so we could do some touring around the city and it was more than worth it. Barcelona is a cool place and people are really nice over there.
The main goal of the survey is to determine the importance of QA in GIS companies.We also want to know more about the size and potential of this market for launching new products. We'll appreciate your participation (and your company's) on this survey, so as to share the results among all of us.
Two weeks ago, XoomCode team made a short travel to San Luis, a citiy near Mendoza (where our headquarters are located) to be part of  the Free Software Regional Conference 2010.
XoomCode has signed a collaboration agreement with the "Association of the Advancement of Free Geomatics gvSIG and Development", joining the official network of the Association gvSIG.
In XoomCode we believe that data analysis is a very important process, and when it's done properly it can define project success. In order to generate useful information we use diverse Open Source tools, and develop others. 
The support of organisations like CORFO and DICTUC (Angel investors) is taking our idea more and more reliable trying to reach the grade of "Industry Standard"
